Hello! I am Casey Ella Fredrick, an illustrator and storyteller from the countryside of Wisconsin. I attended Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design where I studied Illustration with an emphasis in sequential art. I was selected for the 2023 Society of Illustrators Student Competition and featured in the podcast “Comics on the spot”.

Through innovative means, I love to create sentimental and emotional stories with a focus on love, family, and loss. Oftentimes, my love for 1990’s horror and romance inspires my work.

My artistic process is a hybrid of traditional and digital means. I utilize mediums such as ink, pencil, and watercolors and then refine and finalize the art in Photoshop.

When I’m not in front of a computer or pad of paper, I enjoy hiking with friends and my dog, Sasha Roonie. And if it’s raining, chances are I’m cozying up on the couch with a good comic.
